  • Attendees to present a storyline of how they dealt with recent events (the chosen case studies, if possible) in their region
  • Before the workshop, attendees will be asked to prepare a storyline of how they dealt with the case study floods for the grouped introduction session. We should prepare 4-5 primer questions to prompt contribution (e.g. What tools/platforms they had available at the time of the event? How effective were the forecast lead times/ timeliness? Do they feel they had sufficient information for decision-making? What could be improved in their workflows? What knowledge gaps do they wish to be filled with EDERA? etc.)
  • Discuss what events have occurred in pilot sites over last 5 years - ask stakeholders ahead of the meeting to prepare this information- Task 4.1

  • What should be the content of the notifications?

    • Also a hydrograph?
    • Impact info
  • Finnish partners work in SMS, so could the notifications work with this?
  • Do we want to develop a questionnaire like the EFAS feedback form?
  • Could we have regular follow-up interviews maybe as part of WP5, would be up to each local organiser to facilitate these, maybe every 3 months
    • Need to be careful about managing the workload, too frequent is too much work, too infrequent and the users may forget
